I would try to update the firmware on the SSD first and make sure it's on its latest revision. You can find the latest Intel SSD firmware HERE. After you update the firmware on it, then go ahead and install Windows 7 on it. After you set it up, check the storage controller drivers in your Device Manager.

Here's a step by step to switch them to Windows drivers if you need to change them:

In Device Manager, check the Storage Controller drivers.
If they're issued by AMD, I would switch them to Windows genetic drivers.

Right click (On the AMD storage drivers) > Properties
Update driver
Click Browse
Click Let me Pick
Choose the "Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller".
Update them all.
Restart once, maybe twice.
